Director’s Message  

April Donate Life Month 2026 was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together. From hospital-based awareness events and donor family outreach to our Foundation Golf Classic and media coverage, LifeNet Health was proud to celebrate the gift of life all month long.

While April has come to a close, our work continues. The Foundation is actively supporting donor family events, expanding community education programs, and evolving our Give Life Every Advantage campaign to ensure the public has access to clear, accurate information on donation and its life-saving impact. 

Looking ahead, we invite you to join us at two signature events:

• Celebration of Life Gala in November

Donor Memorial Dedication

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital

On April 20, we dedicated a new donor memorial, Bridges at Virginia Beach General Hospital. Created by artist Staci Katsias using 100% reclaimed glass, the installation reflects the generosity and lasting impact of organ and tissue donors. 

This marks the 11th memorial supported through the Foundation’s Hospital Donor Memorial Program across Virginia.
